The Quality Thrift Shop
The Quality Thrift Shop has many hidden treasures – from designer dresses and suits to the piece missing from your spoon collection. We stock gently used women’s, men’s, children’s and teen’s fashions, even maternity wear. We’re conveniently located along Antique Row in historic Kent, Connecticut. Stop in and see us – you never know what you’ll find!
Since their opening in 1989 the Quality Thrift Store has been able to give away over a million dollars to their Outreach ministries. They operate with a volunteer staff. After their expenses have been met, the rest of their income is given to many organizations near and far such as: Habitat for Humanity, Americares, Kent Community Fund, NW Chore, United Way, Kent Early Learning Center, Silver Lake, Kent Affordable Housing, Housatonic Youth Services, New Milford Hospice, KVFD, Women’s Support Services, Greenwoods Counseling, Loaves and Fishes, Kent Center School Scholarships, New Milford Homeless Shelter, Literacy Volunteers, Torrington Community Kitchen, and many more.
The Quality Thrift Shop provides many less fortunate, in and around the community, with a valuable service and contributions.
